    health/mana vs damage?
    I went through a few pages of the many shadow priest questions we've had of late (they've been very helpful) but couldn't find an answer to mine.

    At this point I pretty much know what stats I'm supposed to go for but do I favour them over spell damage, or the other way around? I just got Nimboya's Mystical Staff that has more spell damage but less base stats than the dagger/off-hand combo I'm currently using, and I'm not sure which to choose. Or what to do next time I'm faced with a similar choice.

    I'm soloing my way to 70, so this is purely for my own sake (i.e. no need to consider instancing and such). More damage obviously kills the mobs faster but is it dangerous to neglect my health while levelling? Or too painful to let my mana regen go down? One item doesn't make a big difference but all my gear combined will.

    Should I just go for balance, so that if I pick the pew pew staff now, I'll get stats gear next time?

    BGing rant
    The simple fact is....I have NO luck in Battlegrounds, regardless of which faction I play on.

    I have 3 Alliance 70s, 2 of which I've pvped with. I've only gotten one Honor system item each for both because I'd give up because I've grown tired of losing, losing, losing, losing and spending a lot of time waiting to be rezzed. So, I've decided to roll horde (on a different battlegroup) thinking I'd be on the winning side for once. My horde alt is in her forties and I've decided to start pvping. So, what happens in AB and WSG? A loss, a loss, a loss, etc. You get my drift?

    I'm a solo player and it seems the only way to get shiny epics, welfare or not, at 70 is to pvp. If I'm constantly losing, my desire to pvp dwindles.

    Boomkin help please?
    So I have 2 druids on the same server... it's kinda a long story why, but I do. The first one is 70 and feral. The second one, I was originally levelling feral, but on a whim today, I've decided to respec her to balance to finish levelling, just for the heck of it. She's currently level 38.

    But I don't know where to start. I picked up a talent spec from WoWWiki, and bought some new gear, since I can tell just by looking at my character sheet that I need to look for intellect, spirit and stamina at this point. But beyond that, I'm completely clueless. And there aren't any boomkins online right now in my guild.

    Anybody want to help a clueless noob to the spec out, please? :) Spec advice, casting sequence, gear, etc. is all helpful.

    what makes my head explode!!!!!
    Yes, 5 exclamation points.

    Nothing in this game gets me more insane with rage than when someone ninja herbs trees in skettis that I just killed. NOTHING!
    (Might be because I am doing it on an under geared rogue rather than a lock, spriest, hunter, or druid)
    Not losing loot to others, not getting passed over for raids, not losing in arena, not getting ganked in bgs, nothing comes close.

    It is all I can do not to unleash with a flurry of cussing and ranting. And luckily its usually not horde but when it is, Oh boy. Tonight I died because I got adds of water guys and a hunter standing by then got the kill, no biggie, I understand that. But then later I got the tag and the hunter came up and I have no idea how since I have it set on auto loot, I must have lagged or delayed one second, but they got the herb.

    All I said was "you suck" "eff you" "youre stuck with me now" then followed them to the next tree, and then they offered to let me loot the next one they killed cause by gosh I was going to follow that b*tch and mad spam the herb the rest of the night in my furor. I was gonna sit by every tree and let it rot if they didnt loot it with me standing there. (I wasnt gonna get banned or warned over this but oh my goodness I wanted to GO OFF)

    Feel free to tell me I am a moron and to get over it, or convince me its not a big deal, because I need anger management when it comes to trees. Or you can tell me what makes you totally nuts and angry, that would be cool too :)

    phew, I feel a little better.

    Of add-ons and pissy WSG players
    I am admittedly an an add-on noob. Recently I had to purge my add-on folder, which of course messed up my UI. It was never genius to begin with, so I decided to take the opportunity to both restore only the add-ons I found useful, and to make it a little more fun then it has been. So, I had some questions:


    Also, the other day I was in WSG on my priest, and ran across one of those players that I like to think of as "the martyr" of the game. You know, the ones that whine and bitch about how everyone else but them are "nubs" and need to "L2play", and put down everyone else to reassure and comfort their Epeen. Occasionally another player will chime in with agreement just to make themselves feel better, which is just as bad....



    So, ladies, have any annoying BG experiences you'd care to share? Those are always good for a chuckle, you know, once the seething has subsided :D.

    the age old gear questions :)
    I'm a 70 NE Resto Druid. After quitting several times, I decided to come back to my old character and start raiding again. (always loved it) I've recently switched to Resto (was originally feral spec) for my own purposes (I like tree form :3) and for guild purposes. I have to say I'm enjoying Druid Healing, however, I've hit a snag.

    Heroics and Kara require me to have a lot of bonus healing, or at least I've been told by everyone that was the case. I keep getting told different numbers (1200/1400/ect) by various sources....However, the problem is I've been trying to raise my bonus healing as much as I can (invested in expensive gems to socket my armor, the + healing weapon enchant and such.) but I can only seem to push the 1000 mark (barely). I'm itching to do Heroics, but everyone tells me I need better gear for it...its starting to get on my nerves. >< So my questions to fellow healers and druids are:

    - Just exactly what stats should I be paying attention to?
    - What sort of gear do you recommend from the normal instances, if any? Rep gear as well, I'm willing to grind it to get what I need.
    - What do you recommend my bonus healing be at (I've mostly been told the numbers by non-healing jobs....so I wanted to confirm.)?

    I was able to get in as a healer for a sort of pug Kara run (some guildies and some strangers) and was lucky enough to get some gear there already, if you have suggestions on anything I should aim for, please recommend. :) I get so confused trying to figure out what stat is better than what. ><

    My armory sheet is here , the normal healing weapon I use is Serpentcrest Light-Staff with +100 healing enchant. The one I have on there I got in that Kara run I mentioned, I took it since no one really wanted it...:)

    Hopefully I can finally get some confirmation on my questions. ><

    So, the post on charter signing got me thinking. You fine ladies helped me get a guild going not too long ago, and I wanted to thank you for your help once again! On top of that, I believe Adalekiel would love to thank you for your help, and show you what you helped make!

    Silly question, maybe...
    Okay, simple.

    I login, hit 'I' and set myself for what I need a group for.

    now usually this gives me a [joined 4. Joined LookingForGroup] and such, not for the last three days though. I can type into /4 but I can't see it. At all. Nothing.

    I tried disabling all my addons and no dice.

    What do i do? My guilds asleep and i wanna/need to run shadow labs?

    Please help? I swear i am not always uber noobish.

    I left my guild sunday morning, and joined a raiding guild. They took me on my first half Kara run (from Shadow of Aran, to Prince) and on my first heroic. (I am prettttty sure i was dead weight during the kara run but that's okay i got some dkp and some badges)

    Leveling a tankadin!
    (hope this is okay, it's my first post :O )

    Alright, i recently hit level 70 on my holy priest, and in my spare time i've started leveling a pally. My question is how should i level her? I really want a pally tank, but i've heard they are kind of hard to level... Would it be easier to level as ret then respec prot? Or a mix of both?


    I'm a super pally noob, and all the guides i've found seem to conflict. ;p Any advice would be awesome.

    Intro post and LF night life on Moon Guard server
    I've been lurking (and every so often, commenting) on this community for a little while, and figured it was about time to break my little antisocial shell and post.  I've been playing WoW since some time before BC, and I've always played casually.  I only have 2 70s right now, my lol-kitty Edrede and my facemelter Qehara.  One guess as to which of the two had actually been in Karazhan, before I moved them off Sen'jin to join my friends on Moon Guard.

    I love playing in groups, as long as I know most of the people in them (and they're not the usual run of idiots and asshats that plague any online community).  I like learning about the classes, though sometimes I'm slow on the uptake (maybe I need more sleep).  I play this game mostly to be able to do cool stuff with friends.  I do like to actually get these things done if I'm doing a run for a particular purpose, so I guess I'm not quite casual enough to enjoy wiping over and over because people just refuse to pay attention or are even more clueless than I am about their class.  Yeah, I guess I'm stuck in an odd place.

    Arena fun
    My friend drags me away from a movie I was watching at my computer to do arenas. I've blown him off for 2 weeks already and he needs 3 points. So, I agree to go....

    I wish I frapsed it...

    Turns out to be a bad night. Best way to just not care and make the best of it - run in naked on your mount and dance with the others while they pwn you. Last round, me and my buddy ran in naked. A naked troll and tauren come running towards an S2 warrior and his boomkin buddy.

    It was enough to stun the warrior. He just stood there, not knowing what to do. Me and my buddy start punching him in circles. So, the warrior ditches his weapon and we have an epic battle of fisticuffs while the boomkin was dancing with us!

    Since we were a double hunter group, we then feign and let the warrior beat our bodies til the other team won, yippee!

    My husband and I died laughing while we watched it.

    Hello, all...
    Hi everyone, I'm so very new, it's not funny.

    I'm new to this group, and new to the ins and outs of trying to figure out raids and  pvps, but I'm not new to WoW.  

    I have a level 70 Balance Drood (Iseulte, Sentinel server), a level 22 Blood Elf Warlock (Anafiyel, Sentinel Server) and a level 20 Human Rogue (Kerinda, Sentinel Server).  All three are in our "family" guild, which consists of about 5 members of my immediate family who have all played together, basically learning as we go.

    As my main has become a level 70 and I've been trying to get better gear through PvP, I've been thinking about getting in on a larger guild so that I can start doing raids.  I really love to play the game, and PvP'ing for better gear kind of sucks, but our guild is definitely not large enough nor diverse enough with player classes to do any serious heroics.

    Does anyone have any advice for a level 70 n00b, or know of a good, woman friendly guild on the Sentinels server?

    Prot Pallies in Hyjal
    Aaaaaahh, quick question from a newbie raid leader.

    Both of my guild's protection paladins seem to have wandered off and we're scheduled to hit Hyjal tonight. What would you say are the minimum stats required of a paladin AoE tanking Hyjal trash? We have a holy paladin with solid protection gear, but I'd rather head to Black Temple if he's just going to die a lot... and I have no idea what I should be looking for stat wise when I check out his gear.

    an embarrassment of riches
    I've been levelling my little draenei hunter on EU Lightbringer lately (after I heard the news of the coming patch I decided to hold off on the alting till then - cheap mounts will be wuv!). I got her up to lvl 56 now, and since she's mining/skinning, I've gathered a reasonable amount of stuff to sell without actually having to take time off from levelling for farming. Really cool, I just put the last couple of days' harvest in AH an hour ago, and now I'm some 200g richer...

    ...and there's nothing to buy. Almost no armor available for my level, either mail or leather. I'm still wearing lvl 34 pants FFS! (Okay, they're blue, I still feel completely pathetic.)

    So enough with the whining... can you ladies help me? Are there any good quests I can do at this level that'd bring me some useful armor? If not, what are the best recipes to ask to have crafted?

    Oh! and one non-related side question. Is it possible to transfer a guild from one server to another?

    Help for a hunter
    Cheeree

    Cheeree is my hunter alt. I had gotten a lot of hunters to level 10, gotten a pet, and then just stopped playing them. Cheeree was a challenge to myself to figure out why people like this class so much. I'm starting to figure it out, but just as I was getting into the groove, I'm running into problems. My pet is having problems holding aggro. He's a wolf, at or just under my level, with cobra reflexes, growl (the highest it can be) and bite 7, in addition to stamina and armor. (Some day maybe I'll give him furious howl again, but it was giving me problems earlier.)

    I'm not sure if there's anything that'll help my pet with his aggro, but I'd welcome any suggestions. I'd rather not have to get a cat, as I just don't really like them much. Will things get better as I start hitting the Outlands gear? I've picked up a couple of pieces from the AH, and her leatherworking has some nice upgrades as I go along, and I'm looking forward to getting some actually DPS trinkets, but these things will increase my damage, so I'm worried that the poor little wolf won't be able to keep up. Any suggestions? Even obvious stuff you think most people would know would be helpful.

    Endgame arena question?
    My fiancee, after much poking, prodding and some convincing from his co-workers, started playing WoW, and now he's addicted. He first rolled a female human pally on Kil'jaeden, but then coughed up the extra bit of dough to play BC and rolled a male belf pally to play with me on my server.

    I'll have to crop out my screenshotted pictures later of the two of us standing next to one another. Of course, I had used my Orb of the Sin'dorei and turned myself into a Belf with the "Elvira" puffy hair. ><:

    Last night he was Ooh/Ahh-ing over some of the PVP rewards and wondered how would he do. This coming from the boy who thought he could buy the Frost Wolf mount with... some sort of currency I don't even know what he was referring to. ><;

    Anyway, my question for today is that, are paladins viable in 2v2 or 3v3, and if so, what has generally been the classes seen paired with them? Further, what should he be? He loves ret but oddly wants to tank for my guild someday. oO;

    As an aside, I really dislike PVP, but I have a (current) fire mage, a holy/disc priest, and a BM hunter at 70, and a lv. 66 protadin I'm working up, that could conceivably PVP with him. But if none of those work, I may just have to reroll something else? ><;

    I just started [info]wow_healers on LJ and I would really like to see it get off of the ground. I'm just a level 45 Holy Priest, so if there are any level 70s out there who would like to give some n00bs some advice I would really appreciate your contributions to the group!
